Interclass was appointed by Whittington Parish Council to replace their existing village hall with a new, contemporary building.

The new community hall, which was part-funded by Wychavon District Council, includes a multi-function hall, meeting rooms, play area and a new 32-space car park and provides much-needed space for the local community.

As part of the project, Interclass have worked collaboratively with the Parish Council and the local residents to ensure the hall was fit-for-purpose for its new users and that the construction works were carried out without disruption to the neighbours.

Despite challenging weather conditions with construction taking place during the winter months, and the social distancing measures in place at the time, the project remained on schedule throughout and completed in August 2021.

Testimonial

"Interclass provided a first-class service throughout the whole process, a fantastic team effort working closely with all the stakeholders involved to deliver on an amazing community project. I personally would like to say a special thanks to Rob Toy for managing the site so well during the build, Rob kept everyone informed when required especially the residents who lived nearby the construction site and is a real asset to Interclass. Thank you to Ross Watkins for his help and ‘getting his hands dirty’ when required, and thank you to Des O’Neill for his support from day one and helping to make the project happen! Finally, thank-you to all the back-office staff at Interclass for their hard work supporting the project."
