Church extension at St Stephen’s Church, Selly Oak
Interclass was contracted to deliver a new build extension at St Stephen’s Church in Selly Oak, Birmingham, which also included a programme of refurbishment and alterations works.
The church, which dates back to 1871, underwent a major transformation which comprised a new extension to create an attractive and welcoming entrance Foyer together with internal refurbishment and repair works. Upgrade works included under floor heating, new lighting and complete redecoration.
The 42-week programme was phased to suit the requirements of the users and required detailed up-front planning and careful coordination throughout.
