CWM Framework

Constructing West Midlands

Constructing West Midlands comprises a suite of OJEU-compliant, publicly owned and managed frameworks and is a ready-made delivery vehicle for capital, repair and maintenance works.

Established in 2011 to deliver significant cost and time savings in procurement across the West Midlands region, the Constructing West Midlands Capital Works framework gives clients access to impartial industry experts and some of the UK’s leading contractors.

It offers clients a flexible framework structure that can be tailored to suit individual project requirements and, as one of only 11 NACF member frameworks, sets high standards for sustainability and the provision of economic and social value.

A collaboration between Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and Acivico Limited (which is wholly owned by Birmingham City Council), the framework’s interests are aligned with the needs of local communities in the West Midlands region and the building users.

Via Constructing West Midlands and its predecessor, the Birmingham Construction Partnership, the team has a 17 year track record and to date has delivered more than £2-billion of improvements to the public estate.
