Procured via direct award using the Constructing West Midlands (CWM) Framework, the new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), is part of the government’s £350 million investment across the UK into community based diagnostic centres which will provide earlier scans and diagnoses for patients through better capacity to provide more imaging facilities to enable faster access to the full range of diagnostic tests.

The new CDC provides an additional CT scanner, a brand new three room endoscopy unit which doubled the capacity of the existing unit, and an additional ultrasound room in addition to the two already in place for patients across Worcestershire.

Interclass started on site in October 2021 where we completed an 8 week enabling works programme before commencing the main construction contract. The new permanent facilities have just completed in April 2022.

Testimonial

Interclass have worked on a number of our Capital projects across our 3 sites and we find them to be extremely professional, proactive and fully engages with us when managing unanticipated conditions and potential change orders.
