In early 2023, Interclass was appointed by Walsall College to deliver a ground-breaking three-storey extension at their Green Lane Campus, the central hub for all construction training at the College including carpentry, bricklaying, and multi-skills trades.
The primary aim was to expand the teaching and workshop facilities, thereby ultimately allowing the increase in student numbers for future intakes, supporting the College’s growth and helping to meet the industry’s workforce and skills demand.
The project itself involved the construction of dedicated workshop areas for carpentry, plumbing, and electrical students, alongside offices, teaching classrooms and a modern entrance and reception area. Throughout construction, we ensured minimal disruption to ongoing educational activities by keeping existing facilities fully operational.
