Interclass successfully delivered the transformation of a three-storey building in Newcastle-under-Lyme’s town centre into the new Digital Society Centre for Keele University. Appointed through the Constructing West Midlands Framework in early 2024, the project forms part of Keele’s commitment to supporting digital innovation, skills development, and community collaboration.
The completed refurbishment has created a vibrant mixed-use facility offering flexible working and meeting spaces, a public eatery on the ground floor, and high-speed digital connectivity. The centre now serves as a hub for Staffordshire businesses, non-profit organisations, university staff and students.
Project highlights:
- Transformation of a prominent town centre landmark
- Careful coordination of logistics and deliveries in a busy town centre setting
- Integration of innovative digital technologies to support community and business growth
