British Judo Centre project gets underway

The University of Wolverhampton has appointed Interclass to build a new extension at the British Judo Centre of Excellence in Walsall.

Initial works are now underway to construct the single-story block at the rear of the existing British Judo facility.

The extension will feature physiotherapy and medical consultation areas as well as additional changing and shower facilities, all of which will help support athletes in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and beyond.

Interclass was selected for the project through their place on the University of Wolverhampton Building works framework, with the scheme due to complete in April 2021.
