We are delighted to announce that Interclass were awarded the SME of the Year award at this year’s Constructing Excellence West Midlands Awards.
The ceremony took place on Friday 10th September 2021 at Edgbaston Cricket Stadium, Birmingham.
The awards are recognised across the West Midlands built environment as the biggest and brightest celebration of best practice.
2020 saw Interclass appointed to the Constructing West Midlands Framework, as well as secure it largest ever forward orderbook for the 2021 financial year.
The judges recognised Interclass’ response to the Covid pandemic, commenting; “Interclass demonstrate the importance of having a strong local business embedded in the community and focussed on the value it delivers to that community.
The business epitomises the response of the sector to one of the most challenging years we have experienced with the onset of the Covid pandemic in 2020. Rising to the challenge Interclass plc used the experience to enhance its offering and improve and refine its processes to be more efficient and effective.”
Interclass were also praised for their commitment to providing opportunities for their people to develop, grow and succeed: “With a diverse workforce it continues to look forward and invest in developing a resilient business made up of enthusiastic young people eager to learn and make their own contribution. A great example of a pro-active SME with aspirations to be part of the community for many years to come.”
