The Great Interclass Bake Off 2021

What better way to get into the baking spirit by supporting a great cause! On Tuesday 23rd of November Interclass took part in our own charity bake sale to raise money for the wonderful Fit and Fed Street Games.

Fit and Fed Street Games are an amazing local charity and our donations raised from this event will ensure the provision of food, sports coaching, and fun activities for children in the local community. The charity will also support 15 young people through a six-month leadership programme, so they can deliver similar community activities going forward.

So, in aid of a good cause, the team here swung in action and baked up a storm of goodies from rocky road,  cupcakes, rainbow cakes, lemon drizzle cakes, classic Victoria sponges and a good old tray bake.

Our lovely Managing Director, Des O’Neill and Construction Director, Garth Watkins, acted as our Bake Off judges for the competition – very serious taste testing, presentation and style were all taken into consideration. After tense conferring, we are thrilled to announce the Interclass Star Baker was Alison Titley, with Nicola Piggott and Rebecca Templeton taking 2nd and 3rd! Well done to all our bakers!
